Thanks to the girls who attended St. Huberts v-ball camp...it seems like it was enjoyable and worthwhile!
We will be having a Car Wash fundraiser for our team on Saturday, August 16 from 9:30am until 12:30pm in the Rectory parking lot. I spoke with most of you about it; if anyone will be on vacation that day, please let me know. Otherwise, I'd like it if all players and parent(s) could attend. Father Redcay is kind enough to let us buy all new volleyball "stuff", so this fundraiser will help out. Please mark your calendars!
We will be starting practices the week of August 18. For those last two full weeks of August, this is the schedule I was thinking: Mon., 8/18 6:30-8:00pm; Tues., 8/19 3:30-5pm; Wed., 8/20 10am-12; Thurs., 8/21 1-2:30pm Mon., 8/25 6:30-8:00pm; Tues., 8/26 3:30-5pm; Wed., 8/27 10am-12; Thurs., 8/28 1-2:30pm
I know this seems like a lot of practices, but once school starts, the games will start and we will only practice once or twice a week. If you'll be on vacation, just let me know. And since mostly everyone is new to v-ball, we need the extra time. Thanks!
