Hi parents, my name is Warren Keir. I will be coaching your children this upcoming volleyball season. I look forward to the opportunity to teach them the game of volleyball. For those that don't know me. I have 2 daughters at St. Joe's, one in 8th grade and one in 6th grade. They both are playing volleyball as well. I have coached track the past 2 seasons and I am currently coaching my 2nd year of cross country. I am the athletic director at our school and have been so for almost one year now. My wife's name is Cathy. She currently is one of the assistants for one of the varsity teams. We have 2 assistant coaches (whose email addresses are listed above.). Their names are Sharon Feist and Nicole Correa. Both of their daughters are on our team. My home phone number is 610-494-7873 but it is usually easier to contact me on my cell phone 484-467-1562. You can call my cell at any hour of the day. I check my emails daily but I work on the road so I don't check my emails til late at night most of the time. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me no matter what the issue. You are always welcome to stay at any one of our practices. I will need some help during the games, but I will save that for another email.
Here is our practice schedule:
Saturday, August 23rd 6:45 pm to 8:15 pm Monday, August 25th 6:30 to 7:45 Tuesday, August 26th 7:45 to 9:00 (don't worry, we won't practice this late when school starts) Labor Day weekend ? Wednesday, September 3rd 6:30 to 7:45 Friday, September 5th 6:45 to 8:00 Saturday, September 6th 6:45 to 8:15.
I need everyone to respond about your availability on this Saturday, the 23rd and your availability on Labor Day weekend. If you are a shore person and you go down every weekend, that's fine and no problem at all. But if I have at least 6 people that are home this weekend, I am going to work with the kids. The same thing about Labor Day weekend. If I have at least 6 people home on Labor Day weekend, I am going to work with the kids. If you are going to be home but you know that there is a party on a particular day that you are having or are going to, just let me know and I will try to avoid that day or time frame. The volleyball season starts around September 7th so I need to start working a lot with the kids.
Please, everyone respond with your availability for this Saturday and Labor Day weekend. And I will respond by hopefully late Thursday night or Friday afternoon about whether this Saturday's practice is happening or is cancelled.
