Thanks to all for a great season, please do not let the playoff result tarnish how well we did. We stepped up a level, and nearly pulled off the upset against what was likely a mostly 8th grade team.
We may have an end of season SJR volleyball party, details later if we do, if not we will have pictures and uniform return in a few weeks.
If you had fun this season, sign up for SJR basketball online via Wagdogs.

UNDEFEATED!
8-0 record in a very tough league, that is quite an accomplishment for your daughters. They have been a pleasure to coach, eager to learn, and they just completed a great season. They, and you, should be very proud.
Trust me winning 3 games vs St Alphonsus in a season is hard to do - well it used to be hard to do. Many of the girls on this team are, I think, getting rather used to it. Tonight was fun, they grew up alot dealing with pressure in a hostile place to pl

I don't know time or place, but all first round playoff games will be Monday night, or so I read. If that will be a problem, please let me know asap.
Reminder - Clinic Thursday Night 6-8 pm St Robs, hosted by Del Val College.

Hi All:
Sounds like I missed alot of good volleyball. I hear we did well in the tournament, though it soounds like we may have gotten tired during the end. That will happen to even experienced teams, so this being our first one I think it was good. Special thanks to Joe Trodden for jumping in and giving up his day for our girls.
I also want to thank Chuck Browning for taking us to two wins Sun and Mon. I heard he did a great job and the girls played well.
For those won

Hi all:
Your girls played great last night! You all should have received the Wood tourney schedule on Sunday form me today. Please arrive at HighPoint by 8AM.
I am trying to get us a practice friday night at 6, even though the girls told me it was date night. I will let you know when I hear. It is also possible that our game Sunday night will be pushed backed from 6 to 7pm, so watch your email for details on both events.

Hi all:
Just returned from Citizens Bank Park, so nothing to look forward to there!
Lots of gym conflicts this week and weekend (don't forget Oktoberfest!), so we will meet next for our game on October 5 7:15 at Keith Valley Middle School.
We have also been invited to a 2 hour clinic hosted by the Del Val College VB coach at St Roberts - at no cost. I need a headcount so let me know yes or know for that.
Thanks and have a great week.

Hi All:
Great Game, the girls are doing a fine job. Regarding the 3rd game, when we have already won the match, I have been playing it for extra playing time and to let the girls experience different positions. I did explain tonight that I don't mind losing these games as the match is already won, but I also wanted them to begin to understand why I play them in certain spots - they are beginning to have final positions. VB, like any team sport, requires the correct positions - I told

Hi All,
Another good win - thanks for all the help with score, lines, snack stand and clean up. Game tomorrow 6:15, please be there no later than 6, I will get there by 5:45, I just don't know what time we get in the gym - we are first game. Get there early if you can in case we can warm up.
I am re-scheduling the game on 9/29, I will be out of town, and it is away, I prefer to be there for those games, details to follow.
As always, feedback is welcomed, see you tomorr

Parents,
In addition to the region 11 site, you can now find all games posted on our team page in Wagdogs. I have 3 work conflicts, that I will try and change, but for now this is it.
Also, I expect we will be playing in the Wood Tournament October 11. If so, it is an all day (8-3 or so) event.
Next Game Sunday night at home. I hope you are all enjoying it so far. I know there are some volleyball questions bouncing around, so feel free to ask me anything before or afte

Parents,
I mentioned snack stand before. For our 4 homes games we will open and run the snack stand, proceeds go right back to your volleyball playing children. It is also not a bad place to watch the game. I will need 1 or two parents each night. My wife, Bernie, will be there tomorrow and is happy to show anyone the ropes.
We also ask each family to donate 1 item to the snack stand for the season. We have been assigned Water/Gatorade, one item per family. Gatorade should be
