Firehouse Pancake Breakfast
Tue September 22 2009 @ 08:35 AMSSJ Football is very thankful for the use of the Goshen Fire House field for football practices. It has become a critical part of our program due to the lack of fields in the area with lighting. Although they have allowed us to use the field for the past six years it is not guaranteed that we will have this privilege every year. In return, we provide and coordinate community service once a month, which is their Sunday morning breakfast. There are two shifts each month(2hrs each).We need 4 to 5 volunteers for each shift.Tasks include cleaning tables, bringing dishes to kitchen,and cooking. I would ask that the 5th and 7th grade take the early shift (9am-11am)in the months of Oct and Nov to avoid confict with Sunday games. Please respond to callahan36@yahoo.com to reserve your slot.
