Hi Parents,
Saints Simon & Jude JV Baseball program will be holding tryouts on Sunday, March 21st from 3:00 - 5:00pm at Oakbourne Field located at 506 E Pleasant Grove Rd, West Chester, PA 19382.
Our intent was to have a Regional(A) and Parish(B) team but with the current numbers of boys signed up (17) we can not do so. In addition we can not logistically carry 17 on the Regional team.

We are all set for 1/10/10 @ the Goshen Firehouse. The event will begin @ 5:00 pm and end around 8:00. The dinner will be catered by Ristorante Verona and should provide something for everyone. The cost for the banquet is as follows; $20 per adult and $12 per child. Please calculate the amount that is due for your family and draft a check payable to SSJ-CYO. Please mail that check to me @ 202 Marie Rd West Chester 19380. I have received a few questions regarding siblings attending the banquet

We are collecting football equipment on Saturday(12/5) from 12:00 to 1:30 in the SSJ Parking Lot(near the shed).Please clean Helmet and remove mouthpiece.If possible ,bag up the loose pads and other items.Please let me know if you will be unable to return your eqiupment at that time. Thanks,Dan.

I was cleaning out my truck of all of the football supplies, and came across a water bottle that contained a blue retainer. There is no name on the water bottle. Knowing how expensive retainers are (I've bought a few for my kids), I thought we should send an email to the team to let them know that I have it and the parents can contact me directly at my email address or cell phone 302-559-1891 to make arrangements to return it to them. <

Hello All,
On behalf of the coaches and myself we would like to thank you for the generous gifts and certificates from the players. Although it was a tough year it was a pleasure to coach your boys this year. Hopefully they have learned the values of Team, Leadership and good Character this year. It was nice to see the vast majority of them raise their hands declaring they would play football again next year....A Good Sign!

We will be playing at St. Pat's field on Sunday (Paoli and Grub Road - we played there earlier in the year, but I forget the name of the school). Game time is at 2:45pm. Please be there by 2pm sharp ready to go.

I received the final schedule from CYO today. We are scheduled to play St. Katherine's at their field on Nov. 8th (Sunday) at 2:45pm. This will be the last game for the season.

Hello All,
This week we will practice on Tues and Thurs from 5:45 pm to 7:30pm (full pads)
Friday we will practice from 5:30 - 6:30pm (no pads). We will be walking the boys over to Tommy's pizza at 6:30 pm for some well earned football grub - Coaches Treat. Please plan to pick your player up at Tommy's at 7:30pm. Bring a pair sneakers to change in to and a bag with their name on it to put cleats in.
We will most likely play on Sunday afternoon this week. Stay tuned

We are playing at Steel Field in Havertown tomorrow after the Varsity game @ 10:00 am. Please be at the field no later than 10:45 dressed and ready to go. Steel Field is located on Steel Rd. The most direct way to get there (from SSJ) is down Rt 3 East for approx 11 mi. Make right turn on S.Eagle Rd and follow for .5 mi then right onto Steel Rd (field on right). Dan
