Practice this week will be Tuesday 4/7 and Wednesday 4/8 from 5:45-7:00pm at The Westtown School. There will be NO PRACTICE on Thursday 4/9 we'll see you at washing of the feet.
The following week of 4/13 there will be normal practice Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
There will be a meet on Sunday 4/19 at Kennett High School. With respect to our meet yesterday I must say that I was extremely disappointed in some of our athletes' behavior. We were approached by several parents of the other teams that some of our athletes were throwing car magnets and trash over the wall of the stadium. Athletes remember when you are wearing the SSJ uniform you represent SSJ and most importantly yourself. Parents please be aware of our surroundings and the SSJ children. We rent these facilities so that our children can participate in these events and we would like to be able to utilize them in the future. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.
PENN RELAYS: This is always a very difficult decision for the coaches so that is why we use their times from the meets. The following athletes will be representing SSJ at the Penn Relays on Tuesday, April 21 down at Franklin Field. PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOUR CHILD IS UNABLE TO COMMIT TO THIS IF YOUR NAME IS LISTED BELOW BY THE END OF PRACTICE TOMORROW, TUESDAY 4/7. - JUNIOR GIRLS: SHEA MCDONALD, MOLLY MULLEN, JULIA PELLETIER, HALEY FREETH AND KAYLEIGH SHRADER - SENIOR GIRLS: TAMMY DINH, SIDNEY BOUDWIN, ERICA MNICH, MOLLY NELSON AND DIANA CUSICK
We will keep you updated as to practices for the Penn Relays. We are trying to get a lined track for any days next week. If you name is listed above, please let me know if you are available on Monday, 4/13 during the morning for possible practice.
Anyone is welcome to go down to Franklin Field to cheer on our teammates. If you are unable to go, there will be a practice at our normal time that day at Westtown.
