The Pee Wees had an interesting practice. We adjusted to the new practice game plan. Our leaders were: Hope Brown, Anya Hayes, Andrew Hickey, Brendan Fretz, and Julia McAneney. They were FABULOUS!!!! They all loved the game that we played. It is a Pee Wee classic - DOG IN THE DOG HOUSE!
VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR SUNDAY, MARCH 29th
The Track Meet is at Bishop Shanahan and begins at 1:00. PLEASE ARRIVE AT 12:15 FOR WARM-UP. Bring your Pee Wee to one of the coaches. I will not be there until later in the meet, I am with Sarah at a swim meet in NJ. PLEASE LOOK FOR JILL VENSKYTIS AND SANDY MCLAUGHLIN PEE WEES wear the shirts that we gave them. I know some thought the sizes were off and I apologize for that. These were not meant to be big shirts so they REALLY should fit most. If it is a problem, Deb Bobrowski can give your runner a singlet to wear. Singlets must be returned, the shirts are yours to keep. All Pee Wees will run the 100 and 200 and some will run the 800. I NEED TIMERS! PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU CAN TIME. IT WILL ONLY BE FOR THE PEE WEE EVENTS We will keep the Pee Wees from warm-up to the 100 event. Then you can keep your child with you. THEY SHOULD NOT RUN AROUND THE AREA. We will call for them again before the 200. MORE IMPORTANTLY, ENJOY YOUR PEE WEE RUNNER ON SUNDAY. I am so proud of each runner. I love watching their faces. The look of determination in their eyes and smiles makes my day. It is truly a big accomplishment just to cross that finish line!!
