Welcome and first practice

Welcome to the 2008-2009 basketball season. I will be coaching the team, and want to thank you for the opportunity to coach your daughters in our CYO program.
I'll be using Wagdogs throughout the season to keep you posted on information, schedules, announcements, etc. Please get in the habit of checking your e-mails and the site regularly, as it will be my primary form of communication.
Although I know many of you, there are a few that I do not. I look forward to meeting you. Please feel free to introduce yourselves to me. We'll have a parents and players meeting early in the season so you can learn more about our plans for the team and about me.
For those of you who are playing travel and/or school basketball, please let me know your schedules as soon as possible. I will do my best to schedule around any conflicts so that you can make as many of your practices and games as possible. We're scheduled to play in the St. Alphonsus Thanksgiving tournament and the St. Bedes' Christmas tournament, and may play in an additional tournament over each holiday break, depending on availability. We'll also likely play in the Archbishop Wood tournament, probably in early December.
