Semifinal Game Tuesday Night

St. Alphonsus defeated Ambler Catholic today, resulting in a 3-way tie for 1st place in the Region. That necessitated using the 3-way tiebreaker process that was recently voted in by the Region's Athletic Directors. There is no regular season champion declared (the regular season champion gets an automatic berth in the Archdiocesan playoffs). In this process, the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd seeds are drawn to determine playoff seeding, and then the two Region 11 finalists will be the two Archdiocesan representatives from Region 11.
The draw was held right after the Ambler/Alphonsus game. Meghan McCabe was our representative, and after the other two teams drew their numbers, Meghan selected ours. Meghan came through for us again, and we are seeded #1. We will play the winner of the St. Albert/OLHC game on Tuesday night at Archbishop Wood at either 6:15 or 7:30 PM. St. Alphonsus is the #2 seed and will play the winner of the Ambler Catholic(#3 seed)/St. Catherine game.
I'm trying to get a practice time set up for Monday, and will let you know when I do. I'm going to try to find a team to practice/scrimmage against so we can work on a few things against a full team. Please let me know right away if there are any issues with either the practice or the game.
