Practice tomorrow, 6:15 to 7:15 PM at Jamison ES. It's important to get everyone there so we can go over our adjustments for our Press Break against Visitation's 2-2-1 zone press.
I'm working on a practice time/place for Thursday night.
Game is at 10:00 AM at Notre Dame Academy, right around the corner from Villanova University. Directions are on our team page and listed below.

Parents and Players,
The Archdiocesan draw is complete and we will be playing our first game on Saturday, February 21 at 10:00 AM at Archbishop Carroll HS. It's about 35 minutes, and we are the first game of the day. Please make sure you are there by 9:30 AM. Our opponent will be Immaculate Heart of Mary from Roxborough in Region 5. Parents and Players,
I think that most of us have gotten over Sunday's championship game (with the possible exception of Meghan!). It's never fun to lose a championship game, but in going over the game (many times!), our girls played very well. There wasn't much more we could have done. Sometimes you just have to give the other team credit! I'm proud of them for playing hard through the final buzzer, regardless of the score.
I am trying to arrange gym time for this week.

Parents and Players,
Just wanted to give you a heads up that we'll also be practicing tomorrow at 5:00 PM at St. Robert's. We'll be off Saturday. We'll go until Mr. Greenfield's team kicks us off the court, but probably no later than 6:15 PM. I understand the girls have a dance tomorrow night.
Please let me know if there are any conflicts for tomorrow's practice.

Parents and Players,
First, congratulations on the win last night and for reaching the Region 11 Championship game and the Archdiocesan Tournament. Many people especially commented on how well we defended last night. If we defend and rebound like that for one more game, we have a great chance to repeat as Region 11 Champions!
We will not practice tonight. First, I have a business dinner that I forgot about (that's one of the reasons we played last night instead of tonight!)

We will practice tomorrow at 8:15 PM until about 9:30 PM at St. Robert's, right after Mr. Greenfield's team plays St. David's at 7:00 PM. The St. Albert/OLHC game is being played tomorrow night at 7:30 at St. ALbert's, and Mr. Marron is going to go watch the game and take notes. He'll call us after the game and let us know who won.
Please let me know if you cannot make the practice.

St. Alphonsus defeated Ambler Catholic today, resulting in a 3-way tie for 1st place in the Region. That necessitated using the 3-way tiebreaker process that was recently voted in by the Region's Athletic Directors. There is no regular season champion declared (the regular season champion gets an automatic berth in the Archdiocesan playoffs). In this process, the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd seeds are drawn to determine playoff seeding, and then the two Region 11 finalists

Parents and Players,
Because of all the juggling to fit in last night's game, we gave up our practice time tonight. I'll see you tomorrow at 6:45 for the 7:15 PM game vs OLHC.
I told the girls last night that I'm disappointed in the outcome of the game, but not in their effort. They played hard, they played well, and they played as a team. I'm fortunate to have the opportunity to coach such a talented, hard-working, and enjoyable group of girls.

Tomorrow's game against Ambler Catholic has been postponed until next week. We will practice at 6:00 PM tomorrow as originally scheduled.
Please let me know ASAP of any conflicts next week that would prohibit you/your daughter from attending the rescheduled game. I'm looking at Tuesday (2/3) or Wednesday (2/4) of next week.
