Welcome, Visitor!
Please bring clean uniforms to the Winter Sports Night (Tomorrow, Wednesday, 7:00 school cafeteria)so that I can return them to St. Agnes CYO. Thank you very much!
Thank you so much for your gift. Deidre and I used it last night for dinner. I hope to see everyone at the sports night this Wednesday at 7:00 at St. Agnes. In case you are interested the final today at 3:00 is between Sacred Heart and St. Patricks.
I am helping to run the year-end tournament and I am asking for help. Dana Donovan is trying to organize a schedule for the snack bar during this tournament. The snack bar will benefit the St. Agnes CYO. There will be games at St. Agnes Friday from 6:00-9:00, Saturday from 10:00-4:00, and Sunday 1:30-4:30. Please e-mail Dana (danadonovan@comcast.net) if you are able to help. We will be accepting donations at the tournament for the dayroom of baby items such as diapers (big sizes 3,4,5 especially), baby lotion or shampoo, or wipes. Please just do whatever you can. We have our last practice Thursday from 5:30-7:00 at O'Rourke's Barn. I know I can speak for Lance and Jimmy when I say the girls have been a pleasure to coach this year. Their team has incredible chemistry. It is sad to think it is almost over. Let's go STAGS, Jim
Schedule until the end of the season: Thursday 2/19 O'Rourke Barn 5:30-7:00/Saturday 2/21 Game v. Sacred Heart 2:15 (arrive by 2)at St. Agnes/ Monday 2/23 School gym 7:00-9:00Thursday 2/26 O'Rourke Barn 5:30-7:00/ Saturday 2/28 Regional playoffs 10:00 (arrive 9:30) at St. Agnes TPH (if we win, then...)/ Saturday 2/28 (yes, same day)Semi-final at TPH 1:00 (if we win, then...)/ Sunday 3/1 Final at TPH Thanks, Jim
I've been asked by a few people so I want to make sure everyone knows we are practicing tonight at the school gym from 7:00-9:00. Hope to see you there! Jim
Hopefully you have received the Donovan's invitation for the sleepover at their home. I would like to have the team attend Mass together at the 5:15 Mass that day. We can provide rides for anyone who needs one after Mass. The girls should sit together as a team in the first 3 rows on the center left side and wear St. Agnes colors if possible.
We will now practice at O'Rourke's Barn on Thursdays from 5:30-7:00_(not 5:45-7:30)_through the end of the season. This Saturday we play S.S. Simon and Jude at HOME. Gametime is 2:15. Please note that St. Agnes will also be hosting the region 17 girls "B" tournament on Feb 27, 28, and March 1. I will have more information and schedules for you shortly.
I made an error on the schedule. We DO NOT play S.S. Phillip & James this Saturday at 6:15. We play them the next day(Sunday 2/8/09)at 6:15 away at P&J. I hope this didn't cause any inconvenience. Jim
Just a reminder. Practice tonight starts at 7:30 so that the JV can play their game. We will finish at 9:00. Next week we go back to our regular start of 7PM. Thanks, Jim
If anyone has any pictures from our team over the season please consider sending them to Joy Pancoast at (hillsdalefarm3@msn.com) and to Tim Wierman (see below)for the slide show at the beef and beer. Also the attachment for the beef and beer didn't go through with my note so e-mail me if you need it (jcushwa@orourkesteel.com).
The SA yearbook is asking for team photographs so if you or your parents have one, could you please send it to me. If you do not, could someone take one and send it to me? The Beef and Beer committee is also looking for pictures - please send them to Tim Wierman twnes@netscape.net who will be putting together a slide show for Saturday's event.
We practice Thursday at O'Rourkes 5:45-7:30 and play SS Simon and Jude at St. Agnes at 2:15 Saturday.
Please see below a note from CYO President Joy Pancoast concerning this weekend's CYO Beef and Beer at Fame Fire House. Please consider coming for a great night. It is a major fundraiser for CYO. Thanks, Jim

Just a reminder to sign up for this years Beef, Beer & Boogie on January 31st at Fame Fire Hall. The night directly benefits the St AGnes CYO and permits the parish to continue to provide such great programs for our children. Attached is a flyer if you have misplaced yours.
PLEASE JOIN US! If you are planning to come, send me an e-mail or call 610-692-2632 to reserve your place in order to avoid additional money at the door.
Thanks for your support,
Jen & Tim Wierman
We will scrimmage S.S. Phillip and James Monday night at our regular practice time in the school gym (7:00-9-00). I expect P&J to arrive at 7:15 and the scrimmage to begin at 7:30. You are welcome to watch if you like. The girls should wear their uniforms and I would like to take a team picture before the game. Please try to come by TPH at 1:00 (I will be there 15 mins early if you want to get in and out fast) for the Knights of Columbus Free Throw Contest. Good Luck!! Jim
