"Exciting news from BETTERBALL!After years of successful clinics & camps, BETTERBALL! is now sponsoring its first ever winter basketball league for second and third grade boys. League play will begin in early December with games on the weekends at The Haverford School Field House. The league is designed to offer a fun and competitive environment for young basketball players. The league will be divided into two divisions -- one for second graders and the other for third graders. Each team will play a 10-game season against the other teams in its division. Coaches must submit their teams' registration materials by no later than October 23, 2008. The league will accept teams on a first come, first serve basis. It will not accept more than six teams for each division. Registration materials and instructions are posted on the BETTERBALL! website at http://www.betterball.net/. The entry fee is $85 per player with a minimum of $850 per team. Teams must consist of players from the same school. If you have any questions, please feel free to email me.
