I just wanted to say how impressed I was with the turnout on Sunday to bake the cookies. It was great to see almost the entire team come out to help. Karen Naylor took the trays to Aid For Friends on Monday and she said they were really happy to get them. A lot of groups make food trays or sandwiches, but the cookies and candy that the girls put together were a really nice surprise for them. Part of what our CYO program is all about is giving back to our community. And, it's even more important this time of year. So, we're inviting the 7th and 8th grade girls from the volleyball and soccer teams to come to the school gym on Sunday December 7th at 7:00pm.

Girls,
Sorry this took so long. It gets tough finding gym time once basketball season starts! We would like to have an end of the year pizza party and parent/player game to celebrate the fun year we had. We can get the Calvary school gym this Sunday, November 23 at 6:30. Please ask your parents to come join in. We'll try to make sure none of us has to play too long, so we don't get hurt! Also, please bring your uniforms as well (you can keep the socks!).

Just wanted to say thank you to all the parents and other family members for coming to the volleyball games this year to support the team. We realize with multiple kids and multiple activities how challenging this can be. The girls were fun to be around and even though we are all disappointed, we know we improved a lot from the beginning of the season. Ok Girls!! We will be playing at Saint Martha's on Monday evening at approx 7:20 so be there by 7:00. We will playing Saint Martha's #3 team. We finished up the regular season tied with Saint Tims in 5th place out of 16 teams. Congratulations to all of you.

Parents! Just a reminder,we have our final regular season game Sunday evening at 5pm at Saint Katherines
The playoffs will start on Monday October 27. We will be playing at either St. Martha's gym or the St. Katherine gym. We will not know which location, or what time ( 6:00, 7:00 or 8:00) until late Sunday night at the earliest. It may actually drag into Monday morning. So, please check your emails Monday morning. Hello girls!! First of all we want to tell you how proud we are of the performance against Saint Cecilias on Monday night. That team is a combined 90 wins and 1 loss over the last 2 years. We battled them tough and honestly they were rattled. We are positive they came in looking for a blow out--they were almost blown out.They do not want to face us again in the playoffs. Hi Girls!! The 2 games scheduled for next Tuesday night at Saint Cecilia's will now be played Monday night at our OLC gym at 6pm and 7Pm. Saint Cecilia's lost availability on their gym.
So Schedule for next week for games is : Sunday 7pm at OLC against Ransom Monday 6-8PM at OLC against St. Cecilias 1 and 3

Girls,
In addition to the all the fun we have playing sports, one of the best things we do is helping others. Over the last few years, a bunch of our girls have been involved in projects like Operation Santa Claus, delivering Easter Flowers and several others.
